FOR THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS "JESUS SAVES"

THE GOSPEL OF YESHUA HAMASHIACH,

JESUS THE MESSIAH

JESUS THE MESSIAH calls everyone 

to REPENT and BELIEVE in Him (Mark1:14-15, John3:16), 

so that they may be SAVED 

(John 12:44-47) 

from the present power of sin 

(Romans 6:5-7), 

and from His wrath that is to come on 

the Day of Judgment (Romans 5:9).

“Gospel” means good news and the Gospel is Jesus! 

It is about 

Christ alone (Luke24:25-27)! 

Jesus is the Son of God 

(Matthew3:16-17), 

one of the Triune persons of God (John1:1, Philippians 2:5-11). 

He took on flesh (John1:14), was born of a virgin (Matthew1:20-23), 

and He lived a perfect sinless life(2Corinthians5:21), 

fully man and fully God 

(Hebrews2:5-18, John10:30).

Because He LOVES us (John15:9), 

Jesus the Lamb of God (John1:29) allowed Himself to be crucified 

on the cross to shed His blood and die (John10:17-18), 

so that He would take upon Himself the sins of the world(1Peter2:24). 

Becoming sin(2Corinthians5:21), Jesus endured the wrath of God 

upon Himself (Isaiah53:10,11) that we deserve (Psalm7:11,12), 

and He was forsaken by the Father in our place (Matthew27:46). 

He did this, so that the price of ALL sins may be paid in full, 

and that the JUSTICE of God may be fully satisfied (Isaiah53:11). 

Three days later, 

Jesus rose from the dead 

proving to be God in the flesh (Luke24:1-7, Romans1:1-4), 

and was seen by over five hundred witnesses(1Corinthians15:3-8). 

He ascended into heaven (Acts1:9-11) 

forty days after He rose from the dead (Acts1:3) 

and sent the Holy Spirit our Helper (John14:15-17), 

to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John16:7-11). 

JESUS THE MESSIAH now sits at the right hand of the Father (Colossians3:1), 

ruling as LORD over all (Matthew28:18)!!!

In order to be spared from the wrath of God on the Day of Judgment 

and not be rightfully cast into hell (Revelation20:11-15) 

(which was created for the devil and his angels (Matthew25:41), 

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth), a person must 

recognize and admit that they have sinned (1John1:8-10) 

against a “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY” GOD

(Revelation4:8). 

A sinner’s (Romans3:23)(you and I) response to the Gospel must be to 

BELIEVE and trust only in 

JESUS THE MESSIAH(John20:29), 

confessing Him as LORD of our life (Romans10:8-10). 

REPENTANCE; A turning away from sin MUST begin (Luke24:45-47), 

that is to have a change of mind and a change of heart, 

to start hating the sin we once used to love (Romans12:9), 

and to start seeking after the righteousness of God (Matthew6:33) 

by turning to Him in obedience. 

Only by the power of the Holy Spirit, a person can be BORN AGAIN

(John3:3-6), 

to become a new creation in Christ (2Corinthians5:17). 

No work on a sinner’s part can be done for salvation because it is a 

free gift of God (Ephesians2:8-10). 

Jesus is the propitiation for our sins(1John2:1-2), 

and completely paid the price on the cross when 

He cried out: “IT IS FINISHED. ” (John19:30) 

The evidence of our salvation 

is continual repentance (1John1:8-10, 2Corinthians 7:10) 

and daily sanctification (2Thessalonians2:13), 

which means to become more and more like Christ(1John2:3-6). 

The person who is saved by GRACE through FAITH in Christ alone, 

continually lives a life according to the will of God (Hebrews10:36), 

in fear and reverence (Psalm33:8) 

of a RIGHTEOUS and HOLY GOD (Isaiah5:16), while calling Him 

“ABBA” Father (Romans8:15).

REPENTANCE & BELIEF,

SO THAT YOU MAY BE SAVED!!!

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
